It is my sincere hope that you will be blessed, intrigued, or in some way enriched as you surf our site in its entirety— we have sought to provide a balance of inspiration and information. Ultimately, we hope you will come join us for worship.
Westgate Baptist Church is a small, but grounded church, rooted in the American Baptist heritage. We seek to create a sacred space where people can honestly wrestle with the mysteries of life and faith in a caring community—a community which seeks to rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Whether you are new to the community, seeking a new church experience, visiting the Lancaster area, or simply curious, we hope you will come and simply be yourself. At Westgate Baptist Church you will likely experience a more traditional or blended worship style, and will hear a message from Scripture that is vibrant, creative, and relevant.
On this site, we have included many audio sermons and pastoral reflections for your edification and enrichment.Westgate Baptist Church is located just one mile north of the Park City Mall at 2235 Harrisburg Pike.
At Westgate we seek to optimize the best in what it means to be a small church. The theme song to the 1980’s hit television series “Cheer’s” was, I want to go where everybody knows my name. While we may not know your name immediately, we embrace the concept of knowing and caring about each individual worshipper. If you are looking for a congregation where you can worship God, grow spiritually, and build great friendships; then Westgate Baptist Church might be just the place for you. To all who are weary and need spiritual rest; to all who seek forgiveness and new beginning; to those who mourn seeking God’s comfort—to whosoever will come—Westgate Baptist Church opens wide our doors in the name of Jesus who said: “Come unto me…”
